What you drive and who it suits

The fleet is 25 Birel N35 karts with Honda 270cc engines, reaching about 55mph on the longer circuit. There are two outdoor tracks: a 550m National circuit and a longer 1140m International circuit. No driving licence is needed, and the minimum age depends on the circuit and format - junior karting is offered for younger drivers while the faster International circuit has a higher minimum, so check the age limit for your session. Time Attack and Arrive & Drive sessions suit individuals or a couple of people who just want laps, while Grand Prix (heats, semis and a final with trophies), Sprints for groups and Endurance races give bigger parties a proper race format.

About the venue

Nutts Corner Circuit sits at Dundrod near Belfast International Airport and is one of Northern Ireland's established outdoor karting venues. Its newly surfaced International track runs over 2 kilometres in total across two configurations, making it one of the longer kart circuits in the British Isles, and the site is known for proper race formats from Time Attack up to Endurance racing on a 25-strong fleet of 270cc karts.
