A dinosaur-themed indoor playground inside Antrim Forum — four levels of slopes, slides, climbs and tubes for children aged 1 to 11. And because it's in a full leisure centre, there's a pool, gym, spa and café all under the one roof.

  • What you'll do — a dino-themed frame across four levels of slopes, slides, climbs and tubes, built for ages 1 to 11.
  • Little ones — 1–3s have limited access to the bigger frame and stick to gentler play; there's no separate baby-only zone confirmed, so supervise closely.
  • All under one roof. Being inside Antrim Forum means a café, parking and usually a pool are on the same site — easy to build a bigger day around. A pool, fitness suite, spa and athletics facilities are all here.
  • How long & cost — most give it 1–2 hours (longer with the pool). Around £6 per child, and free for children on a MORE family membership. Prices change, so check.
  • Easy entry — book online or just walk in and pay at the kiosk.
  • Grippy socks needed. Anti-slip socks are the norm on the frame — bring a pair for each child and check before you go.
  • Check the hours. Roughly weekdays 10am–6pm and weekends 9am–3.30pm — confirm before travelling. Free car park out front with Blue Badge bays.

The story

Antrim's dinosaur den

Caveman Capers is the dinosaur-themed soft play run by Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council inside Antrim Forum leisure centre on Lough Road. It's one of two council soft plays in the borough, alongside Playzone at Valley Leisure Centre, and is built for children aged 1 to 11 across four levels of slopes, slides, climbs and tubes.

Being part of the wider leisure centre, it sits alongside a swimming pool, fitness suite, spa and athletics facilities, so the soft play is one budget-friendly part of a bigger family venue.
