About Armagh Cider Company
Armagh Cider Company was founded in 2006 by Philip and Helen Troughton, whose family have grown apples at Ballinteggart House for four generations since 1898. The orchards lie in County Armagh, the historic apple-growing heart of Northern Ireland, and the Armagh Bramley apple carries protected status of its own.
Ballinteggart House is a Grade 2 listed building dating to 1776, with a cider barn that traces back to the 1600s and now serves as a visitor space. The 'blossom to bottle' tour grew out of the family wanting to show visitors the full cider-making process on the land where the apples are grown.
