About MacIvors
MacIvors Cider Co is a family-owned producer near Portadown in County Armagh, Northern Ireland's orchard county. The family planted its first apple orchard on this land in 1855, and the modern cidery, run by Greg MacNeice, still draws its fruit from those Armagh orchards.
The ciders are made from 100% fresh-pressed apples using a cold-fermenting yeast, blending more than ten varieties so that dessert apples bring sweetness, Bramleys bring acidity and traditional cider apples bring tannin and flavour. The flagship Traditional Dry won a gold medal and the Champion Cider title at the 2015 International Brewing Awards, the first Irish cider producer to take gold there. The range also includes a fresh Medium and a Plum and Ginger blend, stocked across Ireland and exported to the UK and Europe.
