Twelve lanes, set up for kids and groups

There are 12 tenpin lanes with up-to-date scoring. For young children the lanes have guiding aids and lane-side bars to stop the ball dropping into the gutter, and the smallest ball weighs 6lb. The minimum age to bowl is 4 and up to six people can share a lane, so it works for a family or a small group. Bowling parties run as one hour on the lanes plus 30 minutes in a private party room, with a minimum of 10 children. Sunday mornings (10am to 11am) have quiet autism-friendly sessions with no music, announcements or flashing lights.

About the venue

Airtastic operates a chain of entertainment centres across Northern Ireland and Ireland. The Bangor centre sits in South Circular Retail Park just off the A2, about 13 miles east of Belfast, and combines bowling, laser tag, soft play and an arcade in one complex.
