The soft play centre is built for children under 4'7", spread over three levels with slides and play areas, and runs in 90-minute walk-in sessions. Laser tag in the Revenge for Planet Earth arena suits older children and adults, with a minimum age around 6 and sessions of roughly 30 minutes including the briefing. The 12 lanes of ten-pin bowling work for the whole family, and the Play to Win arcade keeps everyone busy between activities. It is all indoors, which makes it a reliable wet-weather option.

The story

About the venue

Airtastic Bangor opened in October 2016 as the first Airtastic location in Northern Ireland. The operator now runs several multi-activity centres across Northern Ireland and Ireland.

A £1.2 million refurbishment, announced ahead of a temporary closure in late 2024, reopened the Bangor site in stages through 2025 as a mixed-age entertainment centre with 12 bowling lanes, a laser tag arena, an expanded soft play and a Play to Win arcade.
