Blend a whiskey that is yours to keep

The tour is hands-on from the start. You taste three signature Two Stacks expressions, learn how grain, malt and pot still whiskeys come together, then build your own blend. On the premium tier you get access to the rare cask racks and pull whiskey straight from a maturing cask. Founders and team members walk you through it, so the science and the storytelling come from the people who built the brand. Your finished blend is sealed as a 'Dram in a Can' to take home.

The story

About Two Stacks

Two Stacks was founded in 2020 by Shane McCarthy, Liam Brogan and Donal McLynn, growing out of their drinks export business. Rather than a distillery, it revives the old Irish tradition of cask bonding, where merchants bought whiskey from distilleries and bottled their own branded blends. In 2022 the team opened a 6,000 square foot whiskey facility near Newry, the first of its kind in the city for more than a century.

The brand built its reputation on 'Dram in a Can', billed as the world's first straight Irish whiskey in a can, which has sold over a million cans worldwide and won a World Whiskey Award for its five-part blend. Two Stacks has since landed major retail listings and released a string of expressions, making the Newry base a fitting home for a tour about the art of the blend.
