Taste the full Mourne Dew range in one sitting

The Spirit Experience pours across the whole line-up: award-winning gins, single malt and blended whiskey, six-times-distilled vodka, traditional poitin and fruit-and-nut liqueurs. A gin and tonic kicks things off at the start of the evening, then you work through generous servings while your host explains the origin story and the cold-distillation process behind it all. Several of the spirits carry IWSC gold medals, so you are tasting genuinely decorated drinks, not novelty pours. You also pick up 15% off any bottles you take home.

The story

About Mourne Dew

Mourne Dew Distillery was founded in 2017 by Donal Farrell and is the first legal distillery to operate in the Mourne Mountains for centuries, in a region with a long folk history of illicit poitin-making. It is based at Milltown East Industrial Estate in Warrenpoint, County Down.

The distillery uses a cold-distillation method it says uses around half the energy of traditional approaches, and produces gin, vodka, poitin, liqueurs and Irish whiskey. Its spirits have won gold at the International Wine & Spirit Competition — including the Rostrevor Ruby Irish Gin and a single malt Irish whiskey — and an Irish Food Writers' Guild award for its Pooka Hazelnut Poitin Liqueur.
