What a family can do here

Come to a public skating session and everyone can get on the floor. Skates are available to hire, along with knee, wrist and elbow pads, so you don't need your own kit. An inflatable slide is set up on the floor during public skates to add to the fun. Sessions run Friday from 7pm, Saturday afternoons, and Sunday afternoons, with midweek sessions added during school holidays.

The story

About The Rink Sports Arena & Multipurpose Centre

The Rink in Portadown is a big indoor roller-skating arena, run by the non-profit Love Hockey Ireland. The main hall is a modern multi-sports surface with rebound boards and curved corners, and at public sessions it turns into a family skate with an inflatable slide on the floor. If the kids love skating, this is the place; if you came looking for a pool, this isn't one.
