The leisure pool centres on an aquatic play tower with two loop-the-loop waterslides and a host of sprays, jets and fountains, alongside a shallow splash area for younger children. The water is kept warm, which makes it comfortable for families with toddlers. Under-4s must be accompanied one-to-one by an adult (16+) in the water, and children under 8 must have a responsible adult with them with no more than two under-8s per adult. Non-swimmers and weak swimmers should stay in shallow water and wear appropriate flotation aids. There's also a separate 50-metre competition pool and a diving pool on site, used for lessons, lane swimming and galas rather than family splashing.

South Lake Leisure Centre opened in November 2020 on the south side of Craigavon's balancing lake, a multi-million-pound build by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council under its Get Active ABC brand. As well as the leisure pool it holds a 50-metre eight-lane competition pool, a diving pool, one of the largest gyms on the island, a sports hall, soft play and a lakeside watersports centre, with the cafe run by local social enterprise incredABLE.
