You paddle it yourself, with coaches alongside

This is hands-on paddling, not a sit-back cruise. The club has kayaks, sit-on-tops, open canoes and stand-up paddleboards, and supplies all paddles, buoyancy aids and helmets. Qualified coaches, leaders and volunteers run the sessions, so complete beginners are looked after from the first stroke. Tasters usually offer a choice of kayak, sit-on-top, paddleboard or rafted canoe, and the rafted canoe lets younger children paddle with an instructor. Minimum age is typically 7, with little ones able to join the supervised rafted canoe. Beyond tasters the club runs skills courses, family fun sessions, holiday camps for children, inclusive paddle-ability trips and journeys around Lough Erne and nearby rivers.

It is run by an experienced team of qualified coaches, leaders and volunteers and is affiliated to the Canoe Association of Northern Ireland.
