Plan your visit

Paddle the lough or go underground

The easiest way in is a canoe, SUP or e-bike hire, with all the kit included and the calm lake right on the doorstep. A guided canoe session runs around two hours and is gentle, though most activities are aimed at children aged 9 and over (younger ones may join some sessions with an adult), so check ages before you book. If you want a thrill, book an instructor-led session for caving, rock climbing, archery or mountain biking, where a qualified guide sizes the challenge to your group. There is also a pumptrack and biking trails on site for bikes, plus a tipi and BBQ hut to make a day of it. The caving and climbing are more physical and have age limits, so confirm those when you book.

The story

About this place

Corralea is a family-run outdoor activity centre on the shore of Upper Lough MacNean, near Belcoo in County Fermanagh. It has been run by the same family, Isabelle, Marius, Brian and family, since 1994, combining instructor-led adventure activities with self-catering eco cottages in one lakeshore setting.

The centre sits within the Cuilcagh Lakelands Geopark, a UNESCO Global Geopark known for its limestone landscape and cave systems, which is part of why caving is a signature activity here. Alongside the adventures, the more recent Forest Eco Spa adds a wood-fired hot tub, Nordic sauna and relaxation pod for a slower end to the day.
