Bouldering, not roped climbing

Every climb here is over crash mats rather than on a rope, so you are never higher than a safe fall and there is no belaying to learn. Hundreds of problems are set across a wide grade range and reset regularly, which keeps it fresh for return visits. Experienced adults who have climbed indoors before can register online, watch the induction and then pay and climb during open hours. Complete beginners start differently: a taster session covers entry and around 45 minutes of coaching, and it is open to ages 8 and up. Children aged 3 to 11 must be supervised at all times by a registered competent adult, kept to a 1 to 2 ratio, while ages 12 to 17 can climb unsupervised once they have completed the assessment and shown they are competent.
