Two rooms, two moods

The bottom bar is the quieter one, with food and a place to sit before doors. The upstairs room is the venue proper: low ceiling, close to the band, the kind of space where a good gig feels enormous. Tickets for most shows go through Eventbrite and other ticket sites, and the venue lists them on voodoobelfast.com/events.

Small upstairs gig room with a big line-up Open mic downstairs on Wednesdays Rock, hip-hop, DnB, bluegrass and comedy Right in the city centre, minutes from City Hall Over-18s only, ID required
Good to know before you go:

Voodoo runs gigs, DJ nights and comedy through the week, with tickets sold through Eventbrite and the venue's own events page. The Wednesday open mic downstairs is the regular fixture.

The story

About Voodoo Belfast

Voodoo is where Belfast keeps its noisier nights. Downstairs is a dark, relaxed bar you can drop into. Upstairs is a small sweaty room that has hosted everything from hard rock and bluegrass to hip-hop, drum and bass and stand-up comedy. Two floors, one door, on Fountain Street in the middle of town.
