Two pools for two jobs

The 25-metre pool handles lane swimming, lessons and general public swims. The smaller children's pool is shallower and warmer, built for younger kids to find their feet with floats and space to splash, which is why families come here rather than to a single deep tank.

The story

About Roe Valley Leisure Centre

Roe Valley is the main pool for Limavady, and it earns its keep as a family day out. You get a 25-metre pool for lengths and lessons plus a warmer, shallower kids' pool, and when the swim is done there is a soft play area, a gym and a café under the same roof. It is run by Derry City and Strabane District Council.
