You drive a rally-prepared Subaru Impreza, the kind of car built for sliding on the loose. The stage is purpose-built up in the Sperrin Mountains, with tight hairpins, fast straights, crests and medium corners laid out to replicate a forest rally surface, minus the trees and ditches. A professional instructor rides with you, shows you the technique and then has you turn it into action over your laps. Rally Storm has been billed as a rally school experience set high in the terrain of the Sperrin Mountains above Omagh. Its gravel stage was purpose-built to replicate the surface of a forest rally stage, with hairpins, fast straights and crests, but without the trees and ditches.
