Petrol karts on a real outdoor circuit

Gosford runs a 30-strong fleet of BIZ and Sodi petrol karts on a 500-metre outdoor tarmac track. Juniors from age 8 to 15 race in specifically governed BIZ karts, while adults from 16 take standard petrol karts on the same circuit. You need to be at least 130cm tall and no driving licence is needed. Sessions come as arrive-and-drive sprints or longer Grand Prix races for both adults and children. Racing suits, gloves and helmets are provided, and qualified first-aid staff are on site.

The story

About the venue

Gosford Karting was founded in 1995 and has run from its site near Gosford Forest Park for more than 20 years, making it a long-standing fixture for outdoor karting in Co. Armagh. It is a member of the National Karting Association and keeps qualified first-aid staff on site.

The circuit is known for its Grand Prix-style outdoor tarmac track and a fleet of BIZ and Sodi petrol karts, with governed karts for juniors and faster karts for adults.
