Climbing that holds you while you reach

Every wall runs on an auto-belay, so the system takes your weight and lowers you gently if you let go. That makes it approachable for first-timers and younger climbers, with a range of themed walls and routes to work through. The minimum age is 6, and Todds Leap's Clip & Slide pass sets a 1.2m minimum height. Any climber under 18 needs a paying adult with them. There is no competency assessment or membership to arrange first.

What to bring

  • 👕Comfy clothes you can move inNothing restrictive — you want to reach, step high and bend.
  • 📱A booking, or a planMost walls want you registered or booked in; crags want your route picked and someone told.
  • 💧WaterClimbing is thirsty work, and out on the rock there is nowhere to buy any.
  • An honest check of your gradeBe straight about your experience — pick a level you will enjoy rather than survive.
