One indoor space course you can putt at your own pace

The course is indoor and weatherproof, so rain never cancels your plans. It runs 18 holes on a space theme, billed as a mission to Mars with cosmic obstacles along the way, and you play it with a standard putter and ball rather than kicking a football, so this is putter mini golf, not footgolf or pitch and putt. Holes are short and forgiving, which means very young children can join in alongside teens and adults. Allow roughly an hour for a full 18 holes at a relaxed pace. Note that the old two-course setup, Mission to the Moon and Escape from Mars, no longer runs as described in older listings; there is now a single space course inside Airtastic.

The story

About the course

Captain Green's Space Adventure Golf opened in February 2019 as a one-million-pound, purpose-built attraction at Marlborough Retail Park, with two 18-hole indoor courses, Mission to the Moon and Escape from Mars, over two floors, a licensed eatery and three party rooms. It was operated by the group behind the Airtastic trampoline parks.

In 2020 the company redeveloped and rebranded the Captain Green's site and the adjoining trampoline park into a single, larger Airtastic Entertainment Centre. The space-themed indoor golf carried over into that centre, which is what you visit today at the same Craigavon address.
