Five zones of woodland combat

The paintball is fought outdoors across a completely natural course with streams, bridges and woodland, laid out over five dynamic zones. Paintball gun hire and all safety equipment are provided, and you get 200 paintballs to start. The guns can be adjusted in strength on request, which helps with mixed-ability groups. Experienced marshals run each session and every zone has a safe area for breaks. It suits stags, hens, birthdays, youth groups and corporate teams, but it is a group activity rather than a casual walk-on, with a minimum of 10 people for the day rate.

The story

About the venue

Adventure Tours NI has been putting together activity and accommodation packages for over 20 years, based at Ardstraw near Newtownstewart in West Tyrone. Paintball is one of more than 50 experiences it offers, with the woodland course set on a natural site of streams, bridges and trees and run by experienced marshals.

It is best known as a stag and hen specialist, pairing activities with on-site accommodation that includes an outdoor hot tub, BBQ and communal space, though it also caters to birthdays, youth groups and corporate events.
