The story

About Carrowmena

Carrowmena grew up around the old Carrowclare schoolhouse, built in 1936, which now serves as the heart of the centre. The surrounding countryside near Limavady, close to Binevenagh and the Causeway Coast, gives it the space for a full spread of outdoor adventure.

Today it runs instructor-led activities for families, schools and youth groups, and with glamping and hostel accommodation on site it doubles as a residential base — a place to try something new and stay the night under the stars.
