Larne Town Park Skate Park — Free outdoor community skatepark with three sections to grow into.

Three sections, one park

There's a street section with low-level features where you can drill technical tricks, a faster ramp section built around a jump box, and a mini section with bowl elements for flowing lines. The areas interconnect, so as you improve you can string together transfers, gaps and carves across the whole park rather than being boxed into one spot.

Good to know before you go:

It's a public park with no fixed programme, so most visits are simply turn up and skate. The council occasionally runs activities through its Out to Play scheme.

The story

How it got here

The £220,000 park was delivered through Mid and East Antrim Borough Council's Out to Play strategy and officially opened on 5 October 2024, with riders taking to the ramps at a lively launch day.

It replaced a long-standing wish for a proper community skate facility in the town, and the finished park set inside Larne Town Park gives local riders a home ground in a green setting.
