About the place
Sheans is a family-run horse farm in the hills near Armoy in north Antrim, set up to give ordinary visitors a real ride out rather than a lesson going nowhere. Alongside the farm treks it sells horses and ponies and runs a busy calendar of themed days.
Its coastal rides operate through the linked Bespoke Equestrian Ireland, which specialises in beach riding and horseback tours along the Causeway Coast, including routes that pass Game of Thrones filming country. That connection is what lifts a farm trek into a full north-coast riding trip.
