When Glengormley opened in 1990, it was the first multiplex Northern Ireland had ever seen. More than three decades on it is still going strong, updated screen by screen while keeping its place as a local favourite.

The story

Where the NI multiplex began

Movie House is a family-owned Northern Ireland chain, and Glengormley is where it broke new ground. Opening the country's first multiplex here in 1990 changed how the province went to the pictures.
