An 18-hole pirate course you putt round at your own pace

This is putter mini golf: you are handed a club and ball and play all 18 holes round the course, not footgolf and not pitch and putt. The theme is pirates, with inventive obstacles built into the layout to make each hole its own little puzzle. The greens are described as challenging, so there is enough in it to keep grown-ups and competitive teens trying for a better score. At the same time it stays approachable for younger children, who can take as many putts as they like to get the ball home. It works for families, groups of friends and birthday outings alike.

The story

About the course

The mini golf is the outdoor element of the Jet Centre, a large entertainment complex on Coleraine's Riverside Park that also houses a cinema, ten-pin bowling, soft play, an arcade and food and drink. The 18-hole course is pirate-themed, fully floodlit and open into the evening, sitting minutes from Portrush, Portstewart and Castlerock on the Causeway Coast.
