What you can do on the water

Alive Adventures is a multi-activity centre rather than a single-discipline school or a membership club. You can book a beginner surf lesson, a stand-up paddleboard lesson or a guided SUP tour, send the kids to a surf camp, or try supervised bodyboarding. Instructors run the sessions, so first-timers are welcome and you don't need your own gear. Warm wetsuits and quality equipment come with the session. Their listed SUP suits ages 15 and up, while kids' camps cover younger children, so pick the session that matches your group's age. They also rent and run tours on premium eBikes if you fancy the coast on two wheels instead.

Alive Adventures has more than 20 years of experience creating outdoor experiences on the North Coast and is run by Ricky and his team. It is a six-time winner of Tripadvisor's Certificate of Excellence and a past Hall of Fame entry, with consistently strong reviews for its instructors and lessons.
