Free-roam VR means no chair and no wires. You move physically around the 9m x 6m arena while the headset puts you inside the action, and up to 6 of you share the same game. The catalogue tops 30 titles across co-op family experiences, treasure hunts, cooking challenges and shooters like Cyber Clash and Kraken Island, plus survival games such as Death Squad. Your Games Master helps the group choose on the day, so treat any named game as a snapshot, the line-up rotates. It suits families with older children, teens and adult groups alike, and the free-roam design helps keep motion sickness at bay.

Active Reality runs free-roam VR arenas across more than a dozen UK locations, with the Belfast West site based inside Shankill Leisure Centre on the Shankill Road. The company reports thousands of five-star reviews and hundreds of thousands of hours played across its venues.
