Climb high or play low, depending on the age

Clip 'n Climb is the headline act, with the Leap of Faith and Vertical Drop Slide as paid extras. Sessions last 90 minutes, including a 30-minute safety briefing, so the climbing time is well structured. Climbers need to be at least 4 and 10kg, and a 60-minute Young Climbers session covers P1 to P3. For younger children, the three-floor soft play runs as a 90-minute session and suits roughly ages 3 to 8, with dedicated under-3 mornings on Thursdays and Fridays in term-time. Two sensory rooms run 45-minute slots for calmer play.

The story

About the park

High Rise is an indoor adventure centre in Lisburn's Blaris Industrial Estate, home to what it bills as Northern Ireland's biggest Clip 'n Climb. Alongside the climbing it has a three-storey soft play, two sensory rooms, an Inclusion Zone, a cafe and a Changing Places toilet.

It runs as a social enterprise, with profits invested in the charity Employers For Childcare, which supports families with the cost of childcare.
