The draw here is variety — 24 themed walls and challenges of different difficulties, so a nervous first-timer and a confident climber can climb side by side. Each climber wears a harness and clips onto an auto-belay that holds their weight and lowers them slowly if they slip or let go, which is what makes it work for children from age 4 and for adults with no experience. The Stairway to Heaven, the Vertical Drop Slide and the Leap of Faith are the talked-about ones; the slide and the Leap need climbers to be at least 120cm tall. Weight limits are 10kg to 150kg for the belay to work safely. No induction or competency assessment is needed beyond the on-site safety briefing.

High Rise is a social enterprise in Lisburn, owned by the local charity Employers For Childcare, that runs the largest Clip 'n Climb in Northern Ireland alongside soft play, sensory rooms and a café. Its weekly Inclusion Zone session, designed for children with autism, Down's Syndrome, ADHD and sensory processing differences, reflects that social-enterprise focus on access for all.
