What the course was like

This was outdoor putter mini golf — you were handed a club and ball and walked the course at your own pace, no football and no clubs of your own needed. The 18 holes were arranged in the outline of Northern Ireland, three per county, with information about each area dotted along the way. Authentic farm machinery was used as part of the obstacles, giving it a real working-farm character. It was pitched at families, with the difficulty gentle enough for primary-age children and up. As an outdoor course on a farm, it was a dry-day, daytime activity.

About the course

Crazy Farm Golf operated on Fastrack Farm at Ballywalter, run by a local farming family, and was known for its 18-hole course laid out in the outline of Northern Ireland with three holes per county and pieces of authentic farm machinery worked into the design.

The course closed in 2022, and the family turned the land over to a Ballywalter allotments project. This page is kept for reference; the attraction is no longer open to visitors.
