Bounce, climb and slide for a full hour

Inflata sessions run for an hour and the obstacles cover a real range. Older kids tackle the Wipe Out sweeper arm, the Gladiator beam, Beat The Wall and a ninja-style climbing section, while the drop slides and Freefall pull everyone in. Children aged 5 and up jump in the main Open Air arena, 4-year-olds can go in accompanied, and 1 to 4s get their own gentler Little Air zone at a lower price. If your group spans toddlers to teens, the term-time toddler soft-play mornings and the Sunday Quiet Air session (no music, no strobes, reduced numbers) give the youngest and most sensitive jumpers a calmer slot.

The story

About the park

Airtastic Newtownabbey is the Belfast site of Northern Ireland's biggest leisure brand, which runs six entertainment centres across NI and Ireland (Bangor, Newtownabbey, Craigavon, Lisburn, Celbridge and Cork). The Newtownabbey centre combines an Inflata Park, a 12-lane ten-pin bowling alley, a War of the Worlds-themed laser tag arena, a soft play centre, a prize-winning amusement arcade and the NY Kitchen diner, all beside the Abbey Centre about five miles north of Belfast city centre.

The Inflata Park is the standout, built around drop slides and physical challenges like Wipe Out, Beat The Wall, Gladiator, Freefall and an obstacle course, with a separate ninja section for older climbers. One booking can cover several activities, which is why it works as a rainy-day option for mixed-age families.
